Bilal Ahmed Madani is an international Islamic scholar, Qur’an teacher, educator, author, and visionary preacher dedicated to making authentic Qur’anic education accessible worldwide. Born on 17 April 1987 in Karachi, Pakistan, Bilal belongs to a respected Memon family known for its Islamic values and business heritage. His name “Bilal” was chosen by his grandfather in honor of Bilal ibn Rabah (RA), the first muezzin of Islam.
From an early age, Bilal developed a deep love for the Holy Qur’an. He completed Nazra and Hifz-ul-Qur’an at Madrasatul Madina and graduated in Dars-e-Nizami from Faizan-e-Madina in 2007, consistently securing top positions in advanced classes. Alongside his Islamic education, Bilal pursued modern academics, completing his Intermediate studies in Commerce and later earning a Master’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Karachi.
To further broaden his expertise, Bilal studied the Certified Shariah Advisor & Auditor (CSAA) program offered by AAOIFI Bahrain and obtained Halal Certification Training from the Halal Development Corporation (HDC), Malaysia. This ongoing learning strengthened his ability to connect classical Islamic knowledge with modern finance, Halal compliance, and Islamic banking — establishing him as a trusted Shariah Advisor and Islamic Finance Consultant.
At just 20 years old, Bilal began teaching complex subjects of the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum, including Tozeeh al-Talweeh, Sharh Aqaid al-Nasafiyyah, and Al-Siraji fil Faraid. His commerce background gave him a deeper understanding of Islamic inheritance jurisprudence, enabling him to simplify intricate rulings for students as a skilled Islamic educator.
Moving to Dubai opened a new chapter of Da’wah, education, and Islamic media outreach. Bilal contributed to Madani Channel, presenting live Islamic TV programs such as Ahkam-e-Namaz, Khwabon Ki Tabeer, Tafseer-e-Qur’an, and special Ramadan sessions — further expanding his reach as a global Islamic speaker and preacher.
Bilal’s true identity emerged through his Dars-e-Qur’an sessions. Every Ramadan night, he delivers comprehensive tafsir of each para (juz) after Taraweeh, attended by hundreds in person and reaching a global audience through YouTube Live and other platforms. These programs became a turning point in his da’wah journey, establishing him as a renowned Qur’anic educator and international preacher.
Driven by his passion to make the Qur’an accessible and understood, Bilal founded Al Bayan Academy a trusted online Islamic education platform connecting students worldwide with qualified Sunni Arab teachers. With its head office in Sharjah and support operations in Karachi, the academy has:
In addition to his educational initiatives, Bilal contributed to Halal certification auditing across the UAE, provided Islamic finance consultancy, and founded Bayan Takaful, offering Shariah-compliant financial solutions and Islamic insurance consultancy. Through Bayan Group, he organizes Hajj and Umrah programs annually, guiding pilgrims with comprehensive training and spiritual preparation.

Bilal lives a family-centered life with his wife and four children, balancing his roles as a scholar, educator, author, and visionary leader. His ultimate vision is to ensure that every Muslim child not only reads the Qur’an but also understands its meaning, recites it with perfection, and lives by its guidance.
“When we truly understand the Qur’an, practicing it becomes easy. That’s why Dars-e-Qur’an and Qur’anic Arabic programs are at the heart of our mission.” — Bilal Ahmed Madani
