Bilal Ahmed Madani
1. Introduction
Bilal Ahmed Madani is an international Islamic scholar, Qur’anic educator, author, and preacher dedicated to making authentic Qur’anic education accessible worldwide.
Born on 17 April 1987 in Karachi, Pakistan, Bilal Ahmed Madani developed a deep connection with the Holy Qur’an from an early age. He completed the memorization of the Qur’an and later pursued extensive studies in classical Islamic sciences alongside modern academic education.
His areas of work include Qur’anic education, Islamic studies, Da’wah, Shariah advisory, Islamic finance, Halal compliance, and educational leadership. He is also the founder of Al Bayan Academy, an online Islamic education platform serving students internationally.

2. Early Life & Education
Bilal Ahmed Madani was born on 17 April 1987 in Karachi, Pakistan. He belongs to a Memon family with a strong heritage of Islamic values and business tradition.
From an early age, he developed a deep love for the Holy Qur’an and completed its memorization at a young age. His early exposure to Qur’anic learning played an important role in shaping his later educational and Da’wah journey.
His name, Bilal, was chosen by his grandfather in honor of Bilal ibn Rabah (RA), the renowned companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the first muezzin of Islam.
3. Islamic Education
Bilal Ahmed Madani pursued extensive studies in the classical Islamic sciences and completed Dars-e-Nizami in 2007.
During his Islamic studies, he consistently secured top positions in advanced subjects and developed expertise in a range of traditional Islamic disciplines.
His studies included advanced texts such as:
- Tozeeh al-Talweeh
- Sharh Aqaid al-Nasafiyyah
- Al-Siraji fil Faraid
At the age of approximately 20, he began teaching advanced subjects of the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum. His background in commerce also contributed to his ability to understand and explain subjects related to Islamic inheritance jurisprudence.
In addition to his traditional Islamic education, he studied the Certified Shariah Advisor & Auditor (CSAA) program offered by AAOIFI Bahrain and completed Halal Certification Training from the Halal Development Corporation (HDC), Malaysia.
These studies expanded his expertise in Shariah advisory, Islamic finance, Halal compliance, and Islamic banking.
4. Academic Education
Alongside his Islamic education, Bilal Ahmed Madani pursued modern academic studies.
He completed his Intermediate studies in Commerce from Government College of Commerce & Economics, Karachi.
He later earned a Master’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Karachi.
His combination of Islamic scholarship and modern academic education has enabled him to work across traditional Islamic education, contemporary Shariah matters, Islamic finance, and educational development.

He also conducts a weekly Dars-e-Qur’an every Sunday, providing Qur’anic explanation, Islamic guidance, and educational sessions for the local Muslim community.
